Harry Garmon, Principal
Harry knows first hand what keeps owners up at night. That's why he made it his mission in life to create service companies that meet the needs of small business owners.

Lindsey Haun
After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Information Systems, Lindsey Haun moved to Richmond in 2004 to work as a Project Estimator for a construction company until joining The Bookkeeping Department in April of 2007. Lindsey oversees Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, as well as managing clients' Quickbooks files as Quality Control. |

Trista Cawthorn
Born and raised in Henrico, Virginia, Trista came to The Bookkeeping Department in June of 2009. Having previously worked in the service department of an automobile dealership, she possesses outstanding organizational skills, and provides superior customer service. Usually the first voice you hear when you call TBD, she will do her best to get you the information needed, or connect you to the right person for the job. She is currently handling client accounts receivable in addition to her administrative tasks.

Ann Allen
A graduate of Syracuse University, Ann has worked many years in the accounting and bookkeeping areas. In 2003, she moved from California to Richmond to be nearer to her family. Ann joined The Bookkeeping Department in 2009 as the Account/Operations Manager and really enjoys the world of outsourced bookkeeping and payroll. She currently lives in the Bon Air area with her son, Jeff, dog, Lola and two cats, Boots and Marilyn.

Karen Culley
A native of Richmond, Karen just recently came to us as Accounting Specialist after serving as Controller and IT Manager of a local manufacturing company. She lives in the beautiful county of Goochland and is very excited to be part of The Bookkeeping Department.

Suzanne Speers
Suzanne joined the team in March 2010 after moving from Kansas City. She is a licensed CPA and has over 11 years of corporate accounting experience in a variety of industries. Suzanne reviews the Quickbook files at month-end, prepares the clients' sales & use tax returns, and assists with the startup work for new clients. She enjoys the part time schedule which enables her to spend more time with her twins boys.

Harry Garmon
In 1976, following corporate jobs with Reynolds Metals and Baker Engineering in the data processing field, Harry started his first business. The company was a software development firm growing to $3 million in revenues. That company was sold in 1991 and, following the transition of the firm to the new owners, Harry started PayTime in 1993. PayTime, a payroll service company serving small sized businesses, grew to become Richmond's largest, locally owned payroll service company. This company was sold to a local entrepreneur in late 2005.
As an experienced, successful entrepreneur who started and grew several service companies, Harry is very familiar with what makes a small business prosper. This business venture recognizes the value to this market of outsourcing bookkeeping services. It is entirely appropriate, therefore, that he is now devoting his efforts to sales and marketing for The Bookkeeping Department, extolling to other small business owners the benefits to be derived from adopting such a proven solution for their own enterprises.
